Rain Drops

You are sitting comfortably at home. If you are lucky, you will be having a hot cup of tea. Then you will stare outside and watch these perfectly crafted arrows of water, blindly hitting, anything that is in their way. You will see how they are incessant, how reckless and yet they come down as if they have a purpose. But does anyone of us know what that purpose is?

Could be anything.

Or could be nothing. They fall, because that is the way it is. That is the way things have been decided upon. They fall, they hit, they break into peices and then they join again. To make other things go according to plan, they need to go through this routine. They might have been told that. That might be true. And that is just so unglamorous and boring. But so are most things which are truly necessary.

But just imagine for a moment that these beautiful rain drops, suddenly decide to disobey. What happens if they just got bored? What if they don’t blindly fall down, but instead fly upwards? That will be definitely a disaster for living creatures down here, and surely the rain drops can’t be that cruel. So instead, they might carry out the plan, with a simple tweak to add some fun into their routine. They will fall, break and join later, but they will select their targets. They will collectively hit something which they all hate. How about that fuming car? Or those belching chimneys at a factory? Or people who deserved to be hit hard, because the rain drops have seen from above what these people have done?

Together, they can be a force which can wipeout anything they want to.
